The overarching aim of the program is to address and mitigate the negative psychological impacts of the Beirut blast among elementary and middle school students living in the 10 km area most affected by the blast  implementation of a school-based cognitive behavioral mental health intervention for trauma in schools (SSET) to improve the ability of teachers to identify students experiencing symptoms of psychosocial distress & refer students to available mental health and psychosocial support services (MHPSS) for further care.
